Overview
MSS Pay was originally named Merchant Solution Services. When I joined the team the owner wanted to really set himself apart so we re-branded to MSS Pay. Being that they were a strong B2B brand, a lot of our strategy was tailored to education about business practices and needs and relating to the everyday life of a business owner. One way I brought that out, was to appeal to more customers with a blog content strategy. This approach also gave me the flexibility to reach customers from a B2C perspective alongside all of our other primarily B2B marketing efforts. My goals were to be able to gain views on Google when business owners searched for their needs as well as be able to promote a newsletter that gave them insights on tips they could utilize to better their business or management while allowing us the chance to continuously soft retarget. Depending on the business size, we would need to appeal to different kinds of decision-makers in various aspects of the buyer journey. I decided to hone in on small business owners, mom-and-pop shops, retailers, and technology-driven business enthusiasts. Here are a few blogs from our SEO strategy I was able to carry out at MSS Pay.
